Did you know that the Chisago Lakes Lake Improvement District manages the flow of water through our watershed to help regulate and maintain a steady lake level?

Here are pictures taken last week of the flowage through the Lofton Avenue Weir (located at the south end of Chisago Lake) as it flows into Green Lake.  Eventually this water will empty into the Sunrise River and join up with the St. Croix River.
