We received notification from the MN DNR Area Fisheries Supervisor, Leslie George that the Fond Du Lac band will be spearing on South Lindstrom and Chisago Lake this evening, Wednesday, April 24th. Our area Conservation Officer has been made aware of this legal tribal harvest activity. This activity is also monitored by the MN DNR Fisheries staff.
Leslie George will be the guest speaker at our annual meeting, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 4th from 10:30 – noon at the Chisago Lakes Township Hall in Lindstrom. Her informational presentation will cover Indian Treaty Rights, fish stocking in our area lakes and her department’s review of the large-mouth bass slot limit on Chisago and South Lindstrom.
